Did Sandy Hook Hire "Phony" Teachers?

One reason why Sandy Hook would be difficult to "stage" is because it involved a public school, which means that there should be plenty of records available to the public- including public records of the teachers' credentials.  Even kindergarten teachers need to be licensed or certified, and most kindergarten teachers cannot become licensed without a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.   In Connecticut, you can't even work in a day care without some level of state certification. However, this requirement does not apply to teachers in private or parochial schools.

Sandy Hook Elementary is a public school, which means that every teacher needs to have some sort of licensure or certification.  The Connecticut State Department of Education states:

To teach for a Connecticut Board of Education, an educator must hold a valid certificate appropriate for the assignment or position. The certificate must be issued by the Connecticut State Department of Education. An out-of-state certificate is NOT acceptable for holding a regular, contracted position with a Connecticut Board of Education.

The Connecticut State Department of Education maintains an interactive license verification system, which allows users to check the credentials of school employees.  Information concerning an educator’s certification is available to the public pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-200 et seq. (FOIA). The Bureau of Educator Standards and Certification has made the information publicly available to provide immediate access to certification information.

Other professionals, such as healthcare workers, psychologists, and therapists, are required to be licensed by the state, and these credentials can be verified by visiting the State of Connecticut eLicensing website

Let's see if the the teachers and staff members killed at Sandy Hook really had the credentials reported by the media.

Rachel Davino-  Behavioral Therapist/Teacher's Aide

In most states, behavioral therapists are required to be board certified and/or licensed.  Ms. Davino's credentials could not be found in any Connecticut database.  Connecticut requires teacher's aides to be certified, yet Ms. Davino appears not to have had any such certification- not as a teacher, teacher's aide, assistant, or behavioral therapist.

No records found on the CT Educator Certification System.
Rachel Davino held no professional licenses in Connecticut.

Mary Sherlach- School Psychologist

Ms. Sherlach is reported to have been a veteran psychologist who was looking forward to her retirement.  Although she is said to have been one of the victims who died on December 14, 2012, a search for her credentials on the Connecticut Educator Certification System reveals that her current license (which is valid for a period of five years), is valid from 1/12/13 to 1/11/18.  Yes, somehow she managed to renew her license after her death.  Nothing weird about that.

Lauren Rousseau-  Substitute Teacher

Ms. Rousseau did have an active license in the state of Connecticut, which was issued on 12/21/11, and was valid through 2014.  She began working at Sandy Hook Elementary School only weeks before her death.  If Sandy Hook was designed to be some sort of hoax, Ms. Rousseau, sadly, wasn't "in" on the joke.

Anne Marie Murphy- Teacher

Ms. Murphy's credentials do show up on the CT Dept. of Education verification system, but the information provided raises some questions.  For instance, records show that her license was issued in November of 1988, but the space where the expiration date should be is left blank (as well as the name of the school district).

This is interesting because there are three different types of certifications available in Connecticut.  The Initial Educator Certificate is valid for 3 years, the Professional Educator Certificate is valid for 5 years, and the Provisional Educator Certificate is valid for 8 years.  The records should indicate an expiration date, since Ms. Murphy obviously renewed her certification several times throughout her 24-year teaching career.  Inexplicably, this information is left blank, while her status continues to be listed as "active".

Dawn Hochsprung- Principal

Ms. Hochsprung became principal at Sandy Hook two years before the shooting. She viewed her school as a model, telling The Newtown Bee in 2010 that "I don't think you could find a more positive place to bring students to every day."  It is said that she died while charging the gunman.

Ms. Hochsprung's credentials can be verified.  However, there is a difference in results between Hochsprung's record and Murphy's record.  Dawn Hochsprung's credentials appear as they should- an expiration date is given, and the name of the school district is displayed.  All of this important information is missing from Anne Marie Murphy's records.

Victoria Soto- Teacher

Next to Adam Lanza himself, Victoria Soto is one of the most famous faces of the Sandy Hook massacre.  Ms. Soto's credentials do check out.  As you can see, she held a 3-year Initial Educator Certificate, which was issued on 2/21/11 and set to expire on 8/31/13.  Her results also list that she worked for the Newtown School District.

Could it be possible that a shooting did occur at Sandy Hook, but the body count was so low that the media had to "invent" additional victims in order to better sell the story to the public?  Who knows, but we wouldn't be surprised.  Very few people care about a shootings with a low number of casualties (look at how quickly we've forgotten about the Clackamas mall shooting which took place a few days before Sandy Hook).  But, manufacture a mass murder that's on par with Columbine or Virginia Tech, sprinkle in adorable children, heroic teachers, and well-groomed parents who appear to be made-for-TV, and you've got yourself ratings gold.

The Incest Capital of the World?

At the far eastern edge of Kentucky, nestled in Appalachia, resides Letcher County. In spite of its isolation and poverty (approximately 30% of the county's population lives below the poverty line), Letcher County has managed to grow at an impressive rate, from a population of just 9,172 in 1900 to a present-day population of nearly 25,000. However, even if Letcher County tripled or quadrupled its present population, there's still a pretty good chance that virtually all of the county's inhabitants would be related to each other-- thanks to one particularly fertile family whose astounding rate of reproduction can put even the friskiest rabbit to shame.

Around the year 1900, Letcher County was the home of a man by the name of Jason L. Webb, who made national headlines for having the one of the largest families in the world. According to newspaper reports of the era, Jason had 19 children, 175 grandchildren, and 100 great-grandchildren. Perhaps even more impressive was his b…

Black Eyed Children Finally Explained!

Last month, we received an email from a reader in Michigan, in response to our article debunking the "black eyed children" phenomenon, which links these so-called "paranormal" entities to recreational drug use.  The reader, whom we will call Onizuka in order to protect his identity, claims that not only is he familiar with BEKs- but that he was one.  "Onizuka" agreed to speak with JOTB via Yahoo instant messenger.  Ironically, this conversation took place on 4/20, a date which is embraced by those who are part of the drug culture.

JOTB:Thanks for taking the time to speak with us.  In one of your previous emails, you stated that you were a "black eyed kid".  What did you mean by that?

Onizuka:  Last November I was driving late at night at turned on the radio and came across an episode of Coast to Coast AM and the topic of the show was black eyed children.  It convinced me to do some research on the topic, and that's how I found your article.  A…

Jesus Campos Disappears; Las Vegas Mystery Deepens

Yesterday we delved into the mystery surrounding the Las Vegas shooting and the unanswered questions surrounding Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos, such as his peculiar GoFundMe page and the fact that his home is being protected by a private armed security guard. Independent investigative journalists have revealed that the company protecting Campos-- identified as "On Scene Investigation & Security, Inc."-- is a Las Vegas-based company whose business license expired in January of 2017.

Also adding fuel to the conspiracy theories was the report by investigative journalist Laura Loomer claiming that Campos' name has been "scrubbed" from the casino's employee database.

It was also reported earlier this week that gunman Stephen Paddock's Reno home was broken into.

But things have just taken a new bizarre twist. Gateway Pundit just announced that Jesus Campos is missing.

Campos was scheduled to appear on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News but, a…
